Terms of Service

Yomi (the "Service") is developed and operated exclusively by Grit Digital Hub ("we", "us"). By accessing, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any term, please do not use the Service.

Yomi maps your life trajectory, analyzes personal energy indicators, and builds a knowledge matrix to suggest reading paths suited to your development stage — not as an absolute measurement, diagnosis, or prediction tool.

The Service may include free and paid (Premium) features. Feature scope may change over time without reducing paid entitlements for the current billing period, except with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for securing your credentials and all activity under your account. Registration information must be accurate and current. You must meet the minimum legal age to use the Service in your jurisdiction.

You retain rights to content you submit (profiles, notes, feedback). You grant Yomi a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process that content to provide and improve the Service — including generating knowledge maps and book recommendations.

You agree not to upload content that violates law, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware.

Premium plans (if offered) are described at checkout. Payment is via secure intermediary gateways; Yomi does not store full card or bank account details.

Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable after Premium activation, except where consumer law requires or we agree in writing.

You agree not to:

• Scrape data, automate access, or exploit APIs/the Service beyond permitted scope.
• Spam, launch denial-of-service attacks, disrupt infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to other users' data.
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit knowledge matrices, algorithms, or system content without our written permission.

Other violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

For scraping, automated harvesting, or unauthorized exploitation of the Service, we may permanently lock your account and block your IP immediately without prior notice or refund.

All Yomi software, interfaces, branding, system-generated knowledge maps, the Yomi score matrix algorithm, recommendation models, and Grit Digital Hub–authored content are our exclusive intellectual property or that of our licensors.

You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for private, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or reproduce the score-matrix algorithm except where law requires.

Reading paths, personal energy indicator analysis, and knowledge matrices mapped by Yomi are for reference and self-development only. They are not and do not replace professional medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.

Life, health, investment, or treatment decisions remain solely your responsibility. Consult licensed professionals when needed.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Yomi is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or consequences from relying on book suggestions or energy analysis.
• We do not guarantee every recommendation will perfectly fit your personal circumstances or achieve specific outcomes.
• Our total liability in the twelve (12) months before a claim shall not exceed (a) fees you paid for the Service in that period, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100) if you use a free tier.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; liability is then limited to the maximum permitted by law.

The Service depends on third parties including Supabase, AI providers (OpenAI, Google), payment gateways, and cloud infrastructure. Outages from these parties may affect Yomi availability.

Your relationship with third parties remains governed by their own terms and policies.

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or lock accounts — with or without prior notice — for scraping, spam, system abuse, Terms violations, or legal requirements.

Provisions that should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless law prohibits.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country requires otherwise. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of competent courts in Hanoi, Vietnam, unless local law mandates otherwise.
